About StayTally
Why it exists
From 2027, holiday-let owners in parts of Wales need to work out and pay the Visitor Levy every quarter. If your bookings come from Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo and your own direct bookings, that means pulling several lists together, leaving out cancellations and duplicates, and applying the rules about children, long stays and dates.
StayTally does that part for you. Add your booking files, check your accommodation, and you get one figure for the quarter, with every booking explained.
Your bookings stay with you
- Your files are read by your own browser. They're never uploaded, and we never see them.
- Only your property settings (names, councils and rates) are saved, on your own device. "Clear everything" removes them.
- No accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no tracking.
- Once the page has loaded, it works without an internet connection. Turn off your Wi-Fi and try it.
Who's behind it
StayTally is an independent tool, built for small holiday-let owners and letting agents.

Found a mistake, or a booking file StayTally doesn't recognise? Email hello@staytally.co.uk. Please don't send booking details. Column headings are all we need.
The small print
StayTally is a calculation aid, not tax advice. It prepares figures from the files you give it, using the Welsh Revenue Authority's published guidance. You're responsible for your return: check the figures before you file, and contact the Welsh Revenue Authority if you're not sure how a rule applies to you.
